Sun April 25 @ 8PM Cultch Curator in Residence, Cris Derksen, will use the intimacy of the VanCity Culture lab to its full effect, pairing two of Vancouver's lushest indie bands, Lightning Dust and Christopher Smith and the Beckon Call, with a string quartet. Derksen and local composer Lucas Schuller will share the duties of arranging Lightning Dust and Christopher Smith and the Beckon Call's songs for the quartet, accentuating the understated beauty of the band's oeuvre.
