RUNNING TIME: 50 minutes
10 THINGS YOU’LL HATE ABOUT ME delivers the second debut performance of Co. Vision Selective, a new project by The Holy Body Tattoo co-founder Noam Gagnon with James Fagan Tait.
A humorous and personal dance tale of survival, 10 THINGS is both energetic and still, thoughtful and impulsive, romantic and chaotic but mostly the honest story of a young boy. Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s famous children’s story The Happy Prince, 10 THINGS you’ll HATE about ME presents a series of ten deeply personal solo vignettes choreographed by Gagnon. This brave new work tramples the borders between art and life, obliterating the lines between lived experience and theatrical extrapolation.
Choreographed and performed by Noam Gagnon; dramaturgy and playwrighting by James Fagan Tait; costumes and sets designed by Marina Szijarto; music composed by Stefan Smulovitz; lighting design by Itai Erdal; videography by Aram Coen; co-produced by Co. Vision Selective and The Holy Body Tattoo.
